History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.
