Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He uses divination through singing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Faran was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
