When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: This man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rolen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: He is in excellent shape and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. This gold eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to reunite with his old friends
