Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Efferil took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the south to a Mayor, Ribbles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Mormo was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
