History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with his Marshal mother left him crippled. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raer was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Raer was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Raer's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
