His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He always tries to repair and not replace. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
