History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Trail learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Bookbinder job and began his own company from there.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and doesn't want to be a mayor and was forced into it by his family
