Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Veit was born with his father's beautiful face. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a worn and beaten armor. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He carries a battered lance and tarnished pickaxe as well. He wears his brown hair up. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Gildmak's homeland. Gildmak decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
