Description: This light-skinned male wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He wears a black costume with the symbols of his god on his torso, and he perpetually has his flail ready. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear ponchos typically of a light pastel in addition to tight pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ulblyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Nirgel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
