History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and retire the richest man in the west

His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Kipper was born with his father's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the south to a Miner, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wants to open a new tavern
