History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a Carpenter soon after.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Ratanák was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ratanák's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
