After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Oren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple black robe with tan stripes complete with hood, and is pretty ugly. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Elegant grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
