He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Description: A 4'11" southern man, he very much looks the part of a Cartwright. He wears his golden hair up. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion
