He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Gubu was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gubu's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
