Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and he perpetually has his scimitar ready. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Delebean enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Delebean was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content
