After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gimgen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up work as a Layabout and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and expand his business

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Nelkin was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nelkin decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
