History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born into a rich family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a tan tunic with yellow highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small tan hat.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fargrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Umpen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
