History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Born in the east to a Architect, Heian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Architect. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Architect for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new architect responsibilities is difficult
