History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in club use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
