History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Darrow's homeland. Darrow decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
