History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Crampernap was born with his father's beautiful face. Crampernap liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now owns his own business.

History: Kiirith lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to raise his children well
