Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Valafar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Valafar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Valafar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Glassblower work with an outfit from a few towns over.
