Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Raer was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. He wears baggy pastel pantaloons and a white scarf. He has a hunchback. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Weaver, and he later adopted a second daughter.
