History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Xappan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
