History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Balam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Balam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
