Through the years after Tharivol was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tharivol's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Qualen was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Healer. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
