History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he wants revenge against giants

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
