Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hamil was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
