History: Nelkin hails from a village terrorized by drow. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Baradad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
