History: Umpen was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Mercenary soon after.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
