History: Born in the east to a Carter, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
