History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Hobart began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
