History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Melech speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Glassblower father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Dayereth lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
