Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Valafar will drive conversation. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Valafar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Weaver, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
