Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Raer was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Gimble was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
