Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Howard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. After a long history of fighting, Howard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Herbalist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
