Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed quarterstaff, just in case. He has shaved his head bald. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: Faran speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Faran was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and someone believes him a fraud
