His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Einkil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
