History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
