Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to share knowledge with the world
