History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
