Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the south to a Healer, Serpent learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Scribe mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to be a scribe again

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
