Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has shaved his head bald. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Fonkin was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fletcher. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and carries sickles. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Watson has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants a kiss
