History: Gifted from a young age, Qualen studied abroad. Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Tomi began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Nithther was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Actor father left him crippled. He now owns his own business.
