History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Halander's homeland. Halander decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halander fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in a small plains village. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents enrolled him in a Aristocrat school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
