Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and someone believes him a fraud
