Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He takes great joy in being the best Interpreter in town.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Interpreter.

History: Elaim was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
