History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Clerebold was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a black tunic with tan highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. He wears his purple hair up. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Sammal enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Sammal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gimgen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
