History: Ghash lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Description: Standing 6'3", this man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Spy business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a slave trader again

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Marshal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. One day when Zephan was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Zephan was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family
