He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. He is baby faced.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Kody was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and revenge

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Laborer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Orryn was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Orryn reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Traubon hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion.
